Aunque la pandemia en curso ha cancelado o pospuesto muchos eventos, hay algunas tradiciones anuales que se llevarán a cabo, aunque con ciertos cambios. Uno de esos eventos es el amado Desfile del Día de Acción de Gracias de Macy’s.
Aunque estamos acostumbrados a ver a las masas reunirse para ver los grandiosos globos recorriendo la ruta del desfile del Día de Acción de Gracias de Macy’s, este año la celebración será un poco diferente. El Desfile de Acción de Gracias de Macy’s no tendrá audiencia y se transmitirá en todo el país como un evento solamente televisivo en NBC y Telemundo el jueves 26 de noviembre de 9 a.m. a 12 p.m.
Para llevar el espectáculo de manera segura a millones de personas en todo el país durante este tiempo sin precedentes, la producción anual se reinventará como un evento exclusivo de televisión y sin audiencia. Este año, la procesión dejará de marchar por la ruta tradicional de 2.5 millas en Manhattan para evitar reunir grandes multitudes.
Aunque no habrá ningún desfile en medio de un mar de multitudes, se han programado una serie de presentaciones teatrales y artistas musicales para participar en el evento de este año. No obstante, aunque los artistas están sujetos a cambios, aquí están todos los que están programados para participar:
